    <h1> Naval Heroes of 1812</h1>

    This concert is sponsored by the Maine Maritime Museum. Museum members $12/ non-members $15/ under 17 $10 Admission does not include park entrance.

    The program will commemorate two sea battles which took place within sight of the lighthouse park. On April 26, 1813 Commodore Samuel Tucker of Bremen captured the British ship Crown. On September 5, 1813 the famous battle between the Boxer and the Enterprise took place just off Monhegan. We will be joined in this concert by maritime historian and author Jim Nelson and author and raconteur Van Reid.
